The war for talent is in full force! Companies are competing harder than ever for top talent and yet many of us haven’t evolved. We must stop using the same boring text, or laundry list of requirements. Don’t get me wrong, we aren’t against “copying and pasting” parts of a job description, but we ARE against the task list of what a potential job seeker will do each day in their job once hired!

4. Location

5. Compensation

  • We recommend that you address ALL 5 in your job postings, even if it’s out of your comfort zone. People don’t apply for jobs; they apply for companies. So, let them know why you are so darn awesome!
  • Don’t forget to cover the basics like benefits, perks, and what you do for fun. Describe your culture, paint a virtual picture for the candidate, make them visualize what it would be like working at your company.
