Job Description

The Business Developer will be responsible for developing sales opportunities within the Jacksonville/Amelia Island/Daytona area by working with the operations team and building relationships with potential clients. They are responsible for identifying new clients/properties within the parameters of the strategic sales plan, closing new commercial contracts and expanding existing business opportunities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, detailed and has a competitive drive to develop leads and opportunities to close contracts and expand the company’s growth.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Develop long-term relationships with current and prospective clients

· Establish target properties/clients through market research, canvassing, building relationships and internal lead development.

· Prepare and submit proposal packages to clients.

· Negotiate contract terms with clients

· Ensure a smooth transition from contract execution to operations.

· Prepare weekly/monthly updates to management and operations team

· Attend networking events, set up meetings with potential clients, and cold call regularly.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented, organized, excellent time management, ability to meet/exceed sales goals, positive attitude, honest, hardworking and have a team mentality.

· Proficient with MS Office Suite and Aspire software

· Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills and sales track record.

· Ability to plan and execute methods, pitches, and proposals

Education and Experience:

· BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field preferred but not required

· 3-5 years sales experience
