Job Description

 
The Field Worker works outside on the Company's crops. This position works in a fast paced and very hot environment. This position works directly under the sun while completing daily production goals. This position ensures that the farm runs efficiently and meets all production demands accordingly to Company's customer needs.
  
Possess the ability to make decisions about how to pace the work so as stay healthy and avoid injury
Uses protective equipment to complete tasks when required
Stays on top of weed growth in various fields.
Works outside at all times
Bends to weed, plant, cultivate, and harvest Company's products
Uses scissors and knives to harvest Company's product; must be able to use these tools carefully and effectively and in a safely manner
Able to identify various herbs
Follows instructions as directed by Field Coordinator or other member of management
Self-motivated, responsible, reliable and able to works independently to complete all tasks
Team player; is able to communicate with all teammates
Reports and is accountable for reporting any observed safety hazards
Pays attention to work detail
Complies with all Company's policies and procedures
Other tasks may be assigned by management and Field Coordinator
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
 
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Three months of experience in crop farming are required

Bilingual English & Spanish is preferred, but not required

Basic math; sum, subtract, divide & multiply preferred
