Job Description

Graphic Design & Production

  • Design and execute all print materials, and other marketing tools that are strategically focused to meet project goals. Print materials include but are not limited to: Weekly e-mail blasts/blog; Weekly specials flyers, Newspaper and magazine ads; in-store signage; Recruiting ads in local newspapers and trade publications; Direct mail postcards and other mailers; In-store service brochures, folders, flyers, coupons and other handouts; Image ads for lifestyle publications, sponsorship assets, community groups, etc., and other materials as needed.
  • Delivery of all work in a ready-to-produce format for appropriate vendors
  • Coordinating production of print pieces with Director of Marketing.
  • Create formats and designs for in-store point of purchase materials, including tags, product signs, sale signs, banners, posters, etc.
  • Design digital assets such as: banners, social posts, display ads, mobile ads, web graphics for use on company website, social channels, and advertising partners platforms.

Photography

  • Update and maintain photo and asset library
  • Work with buyers and vendors to obtain visuals and product shots

Administrative

  • Maintain files of all creative projects
  • Maintain computer equipment and keep software up to date, as approved by the Director of Marketing
  • Maintain and update brand guidelines

Teamwork

  • Work with other members of the department as necessary to complete projects, event logistics and needs


     
    Job Requirements
    3-5 years graphic design experience. Retail experience, a plus.
    Degree in design, fine arts or related field preferred, but not required.
    Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
    Ability work with a team, as well as independently.
    Able to take direction and constructive feedback.
    Excellent communication and proofreading skills.
    Must have keen eye for aesthetics and details.
    Expertise with design software, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, Canva, as well as MS Office Suite.
    Strong portfolio with print ads, flyers, posters, banners, billboards, digital ads, etc.
