Everde Growers is a leader within the horticulture industry with a true coast-to-coast footprint consisting of over 6,700 acres in production encompassing 15 farm locations throughout Texas, Florida, California, and Oregon. Our superior growing methods and pruning practices ensure consistent high quality and availability.
Come and join our team in the Production Operations department at our Fallbrook growing grounds as a Growing Manager. Among your responsibilities will be managing and monitoring all aspects of the Production department, managing all field labor & staff for growing and assembly of product, improving the efficiency and productivity of the work team, and growing quality plant material.

Your duties will include: review & monitoring of the irrigation system; regular review and analysis of financial reports; assisting with budget development; participating in governmental and county inspections, and working with all oversight officials including county & state, vendors and others in the industry; developing plans for optimal plant growth and placement, and reducing labor costs; suggesting procedural and cultural changes to maximize plant quality and meet market deadlines and timetables; material requisition; management and supervision of the team, to include scheduling, safety, and processes; working with Production & Assembly department to accomplish all tasks and responsibilities, as well as the shipping department.

Your qualifications should include:

- BA/BS degree, or 3-4 years' related experience & training; previous horticultural experience is required

- Horticulture degree a plus

- Excellent communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish while not mandatory, is helpful

- Knowledge of MS Office applications

- Maintain a Qualified Applicator License through the state

- Ability & willingness to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis; to work outside and be exposed to all weather conditions
