Job Description
Country Mile Gardens is a family-owned and run establishment dedicated to helping our neighbors achieve gardening success. We carry annuals, house plants, perennials, herbs, vegetables, shrubs, flowering trees, shade trees, evergreen trees, as well as all the fertilizers and controls to keep your garden healthy and happy.  Consider joining our educated workforce of horticulturalists, biologists, and plant enthusiasts.
 
We are currently hiring for both full and part time openings to start in March 2025. Responsibilities include maintaining plant material, unloading and displaying new plant products and stocking hard goods. The role also involves assisting customers with plant selection, answering questions, diagnosing plant problems, and processing plant sales, including preparing paperwork for deliveries and installations. Responsibilities may vary depending on the candidate. Full day shifts available 7 days a week.  Hours 8-6pm Monday through Saturday and Sundays 8 to 5pm. 
 
 
Job Requirements
•Basic knowledge of plants, gardening or landscaping
•Ability to prioritize tasks- find efficiencies and use available resources to complete required duties
•Ability to follow directions
•Excellent communication skills
•An eye for detail
•Reliable and dependable
•Lifting up to 10 lbs required. Lifting up to 50 lbs a plus.
•Capacity to be on your feet for extended periods.
•Must be able to tolerate outdoor weather conditions: rain, wind, cold and heat
•No Drivers license required
