Primary Responsibility

The Landscape Supply Cashier is responsible for cashing out customers through cash or credit transactions in our seasonally busy, outdoor wholesale horticulture store. The successful candidate will be able to manage a high volume of customer traffic, complete accurate and efficient transactions with an enthusiastic attitude and friendly manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greeting/Identifying/Checking in and out customers at counter and check out locations
  • Accurate processing of customer payments, deliveries and scheduled pick-ups.
  • Balancing drawers on money transactions
  • Answering telephone calls and transferring the calls to correct sales people or department
  • Ensuring daily scheduled pick-ups and returns are completed in a timely fashion

Accuracy with transactions and paperwork
Customer service skills
Basic Computer Literacy
Bilingual in Spanish a Plus!

Ability to bend, stand and walk for the length of your shift
Ability to work outside in all types of weather if required to assist a customer outside
