Position is available immediately. Established residential landscape company located in Baltimore County. The Landscape Department Manager will be responsible for all aspects of our Landscape Division. The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years experience in estimating and quoting profitable jobs and scheduling crew to complete projects. Inspect projects through the installation process and handle any large change orders that could affect the original scope of the project.
- At least 2 years experience in running up to 2 crews with 2 individuals in each crew.
- Advanced knowledge of landscaping and horticultural principles a must, preferably 3 years. Preferred 3 to 5 years of hardscape and landscape experience.
- Be able to recognize plant material and apply to jobs accordingly. Create basic designs to present ideas to residential clients. No commercial jobs are part of our business plan.
- Excellent communications with job leads, clients, crews and other staff.
- Punctual communication with new leads and follow ups with existing clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Keep an organized and professional appearance and workspace.
- Complete and submit necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Read and speak English proficiently.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Current and valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Complete and pass DOT physical. (paid by employer)
- Pass drug and background check. (paid by employer)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
