Silvis Group, Inc. seeks an accomplished salesperson knowledgeable in landscaping to serve as an outside sales representative to our full service residential and commercial landscape design, build install and maintain firm located in Mt. Pleasant, PA.

The goal of this position will be to increase revenue from existing markets, and to forge new markets in our region. This position will begin as soon as possible and will hit the ground running in spring.

Candidates are expected to have the experience, independence, and confidence to be self-directed - identifying and carrying out their sales duties and responsibilities autonomously. All our employees conduct a degree of inside sales, but we currently seek an additional outside sales presence – that’s why we need you to help us grow!

 

Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities are:

Building relationships, developing new business from cold calls & referrals and selling the value of the many landscape services we provide which may include installation of landscapes and hardscapes

Be adept at sales leads, making effective sales presentations and managing customer relationships

Build and maintain rapport and positive working relations with field, office and management personnel to resolve problems, exploit opportunities, and maximize profits

Prepare complete, clear and concise reports, proposals, agreements and required company paperwork

Experience selling maintenance contact, service agreements and any other intangible services in commercial and residential environment

Landscape industry experience while not required would be considered first

Must be able to work independently, communicate effectively or services and adequately answer customer’s questions and concerns to overcome their objections

Critical that this individual be energetic, motivated and maintains the drive necessary to develop business in this growing industry
