Job Description

 

Summary:

Landscape Workshop is a Commercial Landscaping company that is looking to improve procurement and supply chain processes for our rapidly growing company. We are looking for a resourceful Procurement Manager to help us secure vehicles, equipment, fuel, uniforms and other key purchasing components for our landscaping business.

There are four main parts to this role, including:

1. Procurement of vehicles, equipment, and other key purchasing components through a competitive bid process

2. Planning, budgeting and needs assessment with our various branches on individual procurement challenges

3. Administration relevant to items above to include (entry into asset management systems, annual registration, fuel card ordering)

4. Insurance claim management of the fleet
Job Requirements

Skills:

· Negotiation skills, experience with RFPs a plus

· Analytical skills, including intermediate or higher proficiency in MS Excel

· Organizational skills, experience running parallel processes across locations and ability to push multiple projects along

· Sense of urgency

· A successful candidate will be resourceful and organized; able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without losing focus

· Understands negotiation with vendors, able to analyze cost decisions vs. functionality

· Business acumen

· Ability to work with team members across the organization

· Strong communication skills
Education:

· Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics or related field is preferred
