DS Cole Growers is a modern wholesale production greenhouse facility with an immediate need for a multi-disciplined, energetic Production Planner/IT Technician/PICAS Data Administrator.
Responsible for Information Technology Application Management (includes training/maintenance)
Work with PICAS software for Materials and Production Planning and overall crop management.
Share PICAS training and support responsibilities, creating training materials to enhance usage within the organization.
Analyze and develop system improvements-identifying gaps in current processes and procedures.
Ensure consistency in master data creation, changes and deletions
Update system-related SOP’s
Assist with other projects as needed.
Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of computer network, providing hardware and software support and training to all departments. Serves as subject expert on all in-use applications. Provide level 1 support for all applications and hardware/software, printers, phones, networking needs.
Identify business opportunities where technology could be leveraged in better ways.
Work with vendors to be sure systems are up to date and functioning at optimum capacity. Upgrade as newer versions are available.
Provide support for all systems including social media, web-based sales, and website maintenance.
Conveys a positive customer service attitude at all times.
