Job Description

 

Primary Responsibility

The Receiving Team Member is responsible for unloading truck shipments, organizing product codes and labeling and tagging products. The successful candidate will help with the completion of projects from start to finish.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organizing product codes

  • Unloading truck shipments and organizing product by type/number

  • Tagging product and placing them on pallets for distribution to sales areas

  • Operating equipment – forklift
Job Requirements
Ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments

Product knowledge of farm and nursery material

Ability to operate forklift

System and farm protocol knowledge

Safely, accurately and efficiently complete projects from start to finish

Attention to detail

Prior experience in warehouse/receiving dock

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, pull/push up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, stand and walk for the length of your shift
Ability to work outside in all types of weather
