Job Description




Position summary: The primary function of a Bonnie Plants Sales Representative/Driver is to stock and re-stock Bonnie vegetable and herb plants at assigned retail outlets. A sales representative spends the majority of time on the road from store to store replenishing plants on assigned routes.

Sales Representative/Driver must be capable of driving a route truck daily (CDL not required) to assigned stores, physically able to load and unload plants from truck, visit stores on a continuous schedule to ensure they are properly stocked and merchandised, cull out old product, and prepare and build displays at the beginning of each season.

Work schedule: Weekends and overtime is likely during peak of season. There is a slow time of the year with many options for time off.

This job is ideal for: Someone who is self-motivated, sales goal oriented, dependable, reliable and enjoys working alone, not under constant direct supervision. Candidate will welcome challenges, be resourceful and maintain a positive attitude.

Work location: The job is primarily on the road in and around designated, identified locations. Sales Representative/Driver is required to visit the main greenhouse facility every other day (or as needed) to load plants and materials, during peak season.

Salary: $38,000 - $55,000 

Job Requirements
Key requirements:

• Valid/Current (State) Driver’s License, clean record for 3 years

• Sales/merchandising experience a plus, but not required

• Service assigned stores as per schedule

• Communicate effectively with store personnel and Station Management, regularly

• Efficiently replenish store inventories, maintain beautiful, outdoor / indoor displays, and drive sales

• Water as necessary and re-organize product; push and pull plant racks while frequently bending and lifting up to 30lbs.

• Place and maintain required retail signage in appropriate locations

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Able to use a computer/mobile device
