Job Description

The job available is for a section grower with experience growing tropical plants, ornamentals, and foliage. (Sundance Growers is a division of Kurt Weiss Greenhouses)

Excellent pay and benefits working for a multi-site greenhouse operation with vast distribution channels across the US. Growers have the responsibility for making sure plants grow healthy, they will cultivate and manage plant growth in both indoor and outdoor environments.
 
Tasks include, but are not limited to: daily watering, fertilization, and spraying chemicals to tackle pests ensuring plants grow successfully.

 
Job Requirements
• Must have commercial greenhouse growing experience
• A passion for growing floriculture products at a commercial level
• Must have the physical stamina necessary to complete daily tasks (sit, stand, walk, squat, kneel, lift, bend, etc.)
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a greenhouse environment
• Must have the ability to push and pull without accommodation
• Ability to accurately follow instructions and effectively communicate
• Must have experience with growing ornamental flowering and foliage plants
