Job Description
This position calls for a highly motivated and organized individual with exceptional communication and sales skills who will be in charge of developing new business for Prescription Landscape’s Interiorscape and Garden service lines. The qualified individual is someone who is well-networked in nursery, landscape, and urban associations across the metro area. This role’s primary responsibility will be to grow an Interiorscape service line for commercial properties across the Metro Area.


· Identifying and establishing relationships with potential clients and fostering relationships with current clients that will increase value, service, and customer satisfaction

· Create a positive Rx client experience by providing top-tier customer services using a consultative selling approach and a commitment to serve clients.

Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to create awareness and develop relationships with key influencers inside companies, green industry associations and others within the green industry.

· Collaborate and contribute as a committed, dedicated, and coachable sales professional

· Meet or exceed sales goals

· Develop annual new business sales plan and present to supervisor and others as directed.

· Create and deliver professional sales proposals to potential clients.

· Independently and collaboratively create interiorscape and garden plans.

· Develop, manage, and report sales and strategies.

· Assist and collaborate within the core sales and operations teams in order to develop strategies that coordinate and complement the entire customer base goals and serve to expand business operations and maximize productivity.

· Assure CRM database is current, accurate and managed to achieve pipeline requirements.

· Coordinate with Marketing to define competition, leads, pricing and similar in order to assist the process of completing a marketing plan.

Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Horticulture, Botany or Business

· Minimum 10 years in green industry sales experience, interiorscape and/or greenhouse experience, or related botany/horticulture experience

· Ideal candidates will have sales or business experience in the landscape professional/landscape maintenance industry

· MNLA-CP and/or demonstrated fluency as a plant specialist secondary to work experience

· This position requires someone who is well-networked in nursery, landscape, and urban associations across the metro area

· Solution-selling experience with the ability to tie client issues to product benefit

· Has passion for plants and interiorscape, the preservation and protection of trees and shrubs in the urban environment with a high level of integrity and accountability towards serving clients.

· Ability to learn and be fluent in various software applications.

· Outstanding presentation capabilities, including excellence with Microsoft PowerPoint and ability to convey executive presence.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills and is highly organized.

· Completes assigned work in a timely and accurate manner.

· Demonstrates independent action and resourcefulness on the job and is a solutions provider.

· Demonstrates diplomacy, maturity, self-confidence and a positive attitude

· Performs duties in an acceptable manner, with minimal supervision and supportive of team.
